Sunshine Coast waterfront values have surged to the point where the latest residential projects feature luxury homes priced at more than $1.5 million -- a level potential buyers would have scoffed at just a few years ago, says a local developer.

The new golf resort development in Vernon called The Rise" - the $1 billion master planned resort community with the only Fred Couples Signature Golf course in Canada - held a ceremony last week for their vineyard.
They announced that well-known winemaker TilmanHainle will be the winemaker and winery design consultant to the project.
