Whittakers

Whittakers is a luxury, master-planned, architect-designed oceanfront community located on the Sunshine Coast in Pender Harbour B.C., Featuring high-quality, low bank, waterfront homes this exclusive neighbourhood offers stunning views of Pender Harbour and the open waters of Malaspina Strait. Environmental Notables

The Whittakers development and design team have undergone extensive efforts to develop Whittakers in an environmentally friendly way. The Whitakers landscape was designed to preserve the old-growth forest, and to protect many of the existing trees and fauna on the lots upon which the houses are built. As well, Whittakers engineered a sophisticated non-mechanical septic system, designed to have no environmental impact and to not pollute the surrounding ocean.

Rockwater Properties

Whittakers is the first in a series of high-end resort / residential developments from Rockwater Properties. Rockwater Properties was formed in 2004 when Alberta Mining Corporation purchased the Lord Jim’s property in Halfmoon Bay and Whittakers. The company is a partnership between hotelier, Kevin Toth, former general manager of Fairmount Chateau Whistler and Peter Ruben, chair of Alberta Mining Corporation (AMC).
